GLADIATOR!

Here I am! I’m watching Gladiator right now in the comforts of my own apartment. It feels nice to relax once in a while. This last week was a lot more relaxing because there weren’t too many things happening. Still, I managed to not sleep. I think twice or three times I got only five hours of sleep initially. I’m not really sure why, but I just couldn’t manage to fall asleep at the regular hour. It’s why I’ve been perpetually tired nowadays. I think the best part of my week came on Wednesday when I went to Costco. I spent like W 200,000, which is about $200. It was sweet. I bought huge things of salmon, chicken, pork, and beef. Everything was reasonably priced, and I was so happy coming out of there. Like a kid in the candy store… I had to bring my biggest suitcase, and the whole thing was filled. SO AMAZING! Oh. Also, payday was on Tuesday, which is why I went to Costco. (Side thought: why did I put Costco before my first paycheck as a full-time employee and the first one in a month)? Huh, now that I think about it, my week was pretty sweet! Haha. Other than that, I was just kind of going through the motions this whole week. With that said, it looks like I won’t be writing too much more…

Good news! I will be hanging out with my brother again next week. We are supposed to go to the Mud Festival 2009 in Daechon. It is said to be the Las Vegas of Korea, but I heard from people that have been there that Daechon is more like the dessert part of Las Vegas rather than the main drag part of Vegas. In fact, I heard there’s really no food places/lodging there. BUT, there will be a lot of foreigners with a lot of booze and a lot of mud, so that will be kind of fun.
